Why is the BUM BUM BALM zinc-free? What is wrong with zinc? Because most of our customers are cloth diaper users, we have chosen not to use zinc oxide in our BUM BUM BALM. Zinc is difficult to wash out of cloth diapers, and it creates a 'waterproofing' on the cloth diaper which causes urine, etc. to run out the sides of the diaper. BUM BUM BALM makes a great alternative to zinc creams!
What steps does your company take to be environmentally friendly? We recycle! Wherever we can, we reuse and reduce. We package our orders in recycled boxes with unbleached tissue. We print on recycled paper, and recycle our ink cartridges. We also encourage our customers to recycle their empty tins in the blue box at home, and reuse the empty Mini Kit box as packaging for a future gift to someone else! All of Dimpleskins Naturals Balms & Salves are packaged in tins made of recycled materials, food-touch safe. We make our own products in our own little factory.
